Join the WCFC Youth Development Programme

Warwickshire Community Football Club is building towards the 2026/27 season, and we are now welcoming interest from players, coaches, and volunteers who want to be part of a development-focused football club from the very beginning.

WCFC is not being built simply to create teams.

It is being built around the EDGE Framework: Elite Development and Game Education.

Through our Youth Development Programme, we want to give players a more structured, supportive, and progressive football environment where development is visible, standards are clear, and long-term growth matters.

Whether you want to play, coach, volunteer, or support the club in another way, WCFC is looking for people who want to help build the right environment around young players.

WCFC is a development-focused football club built around the EDGE Framework.

That means we care about more than match results.

We care about:

Player development
Coach development
Long-term progression
Values and behaviour
Parent understanding
The environment around every player

Our aim is to create a joined-up football environment where players are supported properly, challenged appropriately, and given time to grow.

We want development to be visible in training, on matchdays, in coaching, and in the way the club supports families.ht environment over time.

The WCFC Youth Development Programme is for players who want to grow in the right environment.

Players should expect:

  • a development-first environment
  • clear standards around effort, attitude, and behaviour
  • coaching shaped by the EDGE Framework
  • age-appropriate development
  • smaller squad environments where players can be seen and supported properly
  • support to improve over time, not pressure for instant perfection

At WCFC, players are not judged only by where they are now.

We care about where they can get to with the right support, the right habits, and the right environment.

WCFC is continuing to welcome interest from coaches who want to be part of building the club in the right way.

Coaching at WCFC is about more than running sessions.

We want coaches who understand the importance of:

  • long-term development
  • player care
  • clear planning
  • strong standards
  • learning and reflection
  • and creating the right environment around young players

No experience is needed for some coaching roles, as in-house training and guidance will be provided.

What matters most is attitude, reliability, willingness to learn, and alignment with the EDGE Framework.we would love to hear from you.

A strong club is not built by players and coaches alone.

Volunteers are a vital part of the WCFC environment.

That might include:

  • matchday support
  • event support
  • admin and operations
  • fundraising
  • media and content
  • community support
  • helping the club run in an organised and positive way

You do not need to be a football expert to make a meaningful difference.

If you are reliable, positive, and want to support a club with real purpose, we would love to hear from you.

There is something different about joining a club at the beginning of its journey.

Players, coaches, volunteers, and families have the chance to be part of shaping the environment, strengthening the culture, and helping build something with real identity from the start.

WCFC is being built with a clear framework, clear standards, and a long-term plan.

If you want to be part of a club that is serious about development, values, and doing things properly, this is the right time to get involved.

WCFC is looking for people who want to be part of something with purpose.

Players who want to grow.

Coaches who want to learn and develop.

Volunteers who want to help build.

Families who believe football should be structured, supportive, and development-focused.

If that sounds like the right environment for you, we would love to hear from you.
